Traditional French cuisine in the modern manner is the style of food that prevails in the Hotel Restaurant, together with a healthy helping of classical Scottish dishes. The Bay Restaurant, at Turnberry's spa, specialises in a lighter Mediterranean-inspired menu, and the Clubhouse primarily catering for golfers, serves simple wholesome dishes.
All the restaurants share a bias towards fresh, locally grown produce with seafood and game delivered daily, along with fresh fruit and vegetables. True to his national roots, Turnberry's chef will not accept meat hung for less than three weeks, and needless to say, it has to be Scottish. |
