The Tourism team of Scottish Enterprise works to help Scotland's tourism industry compete internationally through the development of effective strategies, the delivery of Scotland-wide programmes and support for national industry organisations. This is achieved through a number of activities, including: Developing the Scottish Enterprise Strategy and Action Plan for Tourism. Supporting skills development programmes such as Welcome Host, Scotland's Best, Tourism Business Success and Natural Cook. Supporting national industry groupings such as Connoisseurs Scotland, the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions, the Scottish Tour Guides Association and the Scottish branch of the British Hospitality Association.
